The Cold Aston Shoot

Welcome
Cold Aston is an estate in the Cotswolds, one of England's most famous historic and scenic regions. Through Atkin Grant & Lang, I have secured the shooting there for the first week of November 2008 for a team of eight Guns. The game will be pheasant and partridge in three driven days.
We'll be some 50 miles west of Oxford, near Chelmsford, Gloucester, Stow-on-the-Wold and just south of Shakespeare country. There’s plenty for non-shooters to see and do and we can put on a vehicle and driver for them.

The Cotswolds lie mostly in Gloucestershire, just east of Wales. This has been prime farming country since Roman times, with deep, glacier-carved grass valleys planted with cover crops on the sides. It is ideal ground for driven shooting and the weather is invariably mild.
